Facility Case Study - Cascade Athletic Club

We are proud to present the incredible transformation that our team completed at the Cascade Athletic Club in Gresham, OR. Sports Interiors traveled to the flagship facility of the Cascade franchise to install our reflective Ceiling Liner over all their indoor tennis courts as well as their gymnasium/multi-purpose space. In order to accommodate the club’s busy schedule, we prepared a detailed project plan in advance of the project start date, and this allowed the club’s staff and owners to review our plan and confirm that the schedule would work with their projected activities and events. Our team began in the tennis court area, working on one court at any time in order to keep as much of the facility open and available as possible. The transformation was immediate and the difference in the visibility for the tennis players improved as soon as the courts were completed

Following the completion of the Liner installation in the tennis court area, our team then moved to the gymnasium area. Whenever we work in multiple locations within an athletic club, there are key items we must always be aware of:

  1. ceiling heights which dictate the type of scissor lift required to complete the work

  2. multi-purpose spaces tend to have a more complicated ceiling layout with basketball hoops and a HVAC system that need to be accounted for

  3. cautious of the floor to ensure no damage is done to the surface

Our experienced crew made the transition seamlessly and we were able to successfully complete the gymnasium area project before the deadline.

Greg Eisenzimmer, General Manager at Cascade noted, "The liner looks great!" Both members and staff have had an immediate positive reaction to our systems and we could not be happier with the results and the amazing transformation that took place.
