We wanted to showcase the work our team completed at the prestigious Oxford Athletic Club located in Wexford, PA.
Our team installed a specialty version of our reflective Ceiling Liner as part of an expanded renovation project involving the main floor of their facility. The work required our team to coordinate schedules and timing with the various other trades involved with the renovation. The project was a huge success with the Liner System providing the perfect finish for the new space. Following the success of this work, the Oxford Athletic Club decided to improve the lighting throughout the entire facility and chose Sports Interiors to conduct the project. The work included new lights across all 7 of the club’s indoor tennis courts, squash courts and the indoor fitness center.
Our team was able to conduct the implementation while allowing for regularly scheduled court reservations and matchplay to continue with minimal disruption to facility operations. For the squash courts and fitness center, the work needed to occur after hours as those areas of the facility were so busy during the day.
In the fitness center, the lighting layout mirrored what was installed in the tennis court area with our indirect LED lighting system. For the squash courts, we installed direct ligting fixtures with prismatic hoods and lenses given the different conditions played for squash vs. tennis. We provided a comprehensive installation, from the same removal and disposal of the old lighting systems to the installation of our LED lighting system. Additionally, we maintained consistent communication with the club and its staff on progress, addressing questions or concerns, and accommodating any sudden changes or needs that the facility requested. The results were amazing with light levels increasing by an average of almost 40% across all of the indoor tennis courts and nearly doubled light levels within the fitness center and squash courts.
